Over the course of more than 15 years of practical experience in the industry, Ninth Bar has evolved from serving coffee to becoming a comprehensive ecosystem that encompasses crop selection, roasting, and a complete consumer experience across our cafes and online store. Throughout this journey, we have served and sold over 3 million cups of coffee, according to company records, reflecting the trust we have built with our customers.
At Ninth Bar, we believe that specialty coffee is not just a product, but a journey that begins at the farm and ends in the customer's cup. This is why we have built an ecosystem that ensures control over every stage of this journey.
Ninth Bar owns a dedicated roastery located in Jeddah. The purpose of owning our roastery is to maintain complete control over the roasting process, ensuring the consistent quality and flavor profile of each crop. Our coffee beans are received, roasted, and packed entirely within our Jeddah facility, guaranteeing that fresh, high-quality coffee reaches our customers.
Ninth Bar is more than just an online store; we have a physical presence that brings the coffee experience to life. We currently operate three Ninth Bar cafes in Jeddah, located in Al Ablah, Al Hamdaniyah, and Al Sanabil. These branches are where customers can directly experience freshly roasted specialty coffee, creating a tangible connection between the roastery and the consumer.
Ninth Bar selects its crops from various coffee-growing regions around the world, presenting them to customers in Saudi Arabia after being roasted in our Jeddah facility. We focus on offering diverse flavor experiences, including specialty Ethiopian coffee, specialty Colombian coffee, along with various global crops and carefully selected rare crops such as the Faisal Abdoosh Ethiopian crop.
Ninth Bar places strategic importance on presenting Saudi specialty coffee. We work towards this by collaborating with Saudi farms to highlight the quality of local crops. Ninth Bar was one of the brands that contributed to introducing Saudi specialty coffee to the specialty coffee audience. We are currently in the process of launching a new Saudi crop that will carry its own specific trade name.
Yemeni coffee holds a special place in the Ninth Bar experience. We highlight its unique characteristics by offering carefully selected crops, most notably the Adeni Yemeni crop, to provide customers with an authentic experience that reflects the heritage and potential of Yemeni coffee.
The Ninth Bar online store serves as the digital hub for the brand, designed to be a natural extension of the experience customers enjoy in our cafes. Through the store, customers can explore global and rare crops, purchase specialty coffee, and buy individually packed ground coffee drip bags weighing 20 grams.
We are also currently developing new digital tools within the store, such as a "Discover Your Taste" tool to help customers find the right coffee, a monthly coffee subscription service, and educational content including a Coffee Encyclopedia to increase awareness of specialty coffee culture.
Ninth Bar’s focus does not stop at providing coffee; it extends to offering the tools necessary to prepare it professionally. Our store features 19 products of coffee and espresso tools manufactured by MUVNA. Ninth Bar is the exclusive official distributor of MUVNA products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This partnership allows customers to set up a complete, professional coffee experience in their own homes using high-quality equipment.
